Service Description

Through a combination of study and first-hand experience, I have discovered that this incredible therapy is one that influences all aspects of our wellbeing, including the functions and systems of our body, our emotions, our thoughts, and our relationships with ourselves, others, and the universe. It’s a physical therapy, which uses a combination of pressure points, gentle manipulation, and stretching to re-energise weak areas and reduce tension in the body. By applying mindful touch, the masseuse can manipulate the functioning of multiple physical systems within the receiver’s body, including the nervous, circulatory, and respiratory, thus supporting the body’s innate self-healing abilities and promoting a sense of relaxation and wellbeing. I practice a Masunaga style Shiatsu, enriched by the innovative concepts of Pauline Sasaki’s Quantum Shiatsu. Furthermore, whilst Shiatsu is traditionally practiced on the floor, I like to carry the treatment out on a massage table.
